Unexpected layer visibility issue after importing DXF file

#1 Post by roseblack » 21 Oct 2025, 03:10

Hi everyone,
I’m having a strange issue with layer visibility after importing a DXF file into DipTrace. Some layers (like silkscreen and assembly) don’t appear correctly even though they’re present in the imported file. I’ve double-checked the layer mapping during import, and everything seems fine, but once the file is opened, certain layers are either invisible or merged unexpectedly.
Has anyone else run into this before? Could it be a problem with the DXF export settings or a DipTrace import quirk? Any advice or workaround would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

The issue may be caused either by the DXF file itself or by incorrect file reading. In any case, to identify the problem, we need the DXF file. If possible, please send it to our support team(https://diptrace.com/support/request-support/) or share it here. We’ll examine it and try to help you.
